Cougar SS
A fictional, next-gen spec car I designed myself. This is something I am still tweaking a bit here and there.
16.500 tri's, 2048 textures for the body, two 1024 sets for the underside, details and interior and one 1024 set for the wheels. A heavy asset, but these textures would probably be rescaled for use in a game. This car is meant to be able to completely fall apart, stuff behind the bumpers, hood and trunk is all modeled and textured.
All images are realtime screengrabs from within 3D Studio Max. The shader used is Jeroen Maton's Shader, heavily modified by me to support among many new features, cubemap reflections and realtime soft-shadows. I have no control over the shadow map resolution in Max, so shadows might look jagged in some shots.
